im grateful for:
the Creator breathing life into my lungs giving me another day. even cloudy days are lovely.
my daughter...who is becoming a beautiful young lady but will ALWAYS be my baby!
peace of mind...even though my son's mothers STILL hasnt called...
my cousin being able to enjoy watchin her BEARS in the Superbowl this Sunday
my family....always for my family...they have stuck with me doing the worst of times.
the elders that come hold conversations with me while im sleep.
the poetry show tomorrow night....a brother is REALLY nervous
the poetry that is once again flowing....short pieces can be beautiful too.
those that take the time to read this blog and respond with comments that make me smile.
the blessings of the Creator...those seen and unseen. i dont always give YOU enough praise..but YOU are deep within my heart.

i hear you.. family love is always important.... she will come around.. i'll keep praying for that.. not sure who i'm rooting for since the patriots got knocked out..... but i might go with the bears since they have a texas connection..
