i was really hoping for some positive changes for 08'. if you read the previous post, i was actually upbeat and feeling VERY good. then the bottom fell out.
i really didnt want 08 to start like this. Its funny how someone can bring joy into THEIR new year but FUCK UP yours. its even worse when its done at the beginning of the new year. not a week into the new year, not a month int the new year but the FIRST DAY of the new year. so how does someone NOT carry negative energy into 08? they dump it on someone else.
what the hell can of shit is that?
im trying NOT to let this set the tone for 08'. im looking for anything positive to keep me moving. their are a couple things im looking forward too in 08 that might help:
my birthday
spending more time with family & friends
the car running....finally.
trips to Chicago & Austin to relax.
W.O.W. poetry slam in Detroit
Rust Belt Poetry Slam
the return of the L Word and the Wire
a NEW football season
So my motto for 08 (Thanks K.I.M):
Keeping It (Appropriately) Moving with Good Orderly Direction...

who's butt do I have to hire someone to kick.. you know I can't fight, but I got 5 on it... and yes, Baby Brother, that's what some do, but let me remind you of something better and so much more POWERFUL.. just because they threw it, doesn't mean you have to catch it. brotha, i so understand...u don't want to know how mine went lol...all i can do is laugh...leave that mess in that moment, and yes keep it appropriately moving.
