Hello World

im still in awe of Obama being elected president. i didnt think it would have occured in my lifetime. maybe my childrens but not mine.

im sure the ancestors and the elders that laid their lives on the line for freedom and equality are STILL smiling big. i wish my grandparents could have lived to see this day. i would have loved for my grandfather, who was born in Arkansas and one more than one occasion swallowed his pride to stay alive, to have seen this day!

i just hope our people dont expect things to change overnight once Obama gets into office. when i say OUR people, i mean ALL people.

we must also understand that racism, is still alive.

i pray for Obama's success and health. i hope that he isnt a pawn of those looking to quite a BOOMING population of what was ONCE the MINORITY.

i pray for America. if ANYTHING happens to Obama, im scared it will be a setback this country would NEVER recover from.

Yet, i send out no negative energy. i just understand how the 'shell game' goes. while people are distracted by the 'waving right hand', the left hand is up to no good.

BE HAPPY PEOPLE BUT KEEP YOUR GUARD UP, THE STRUGGLE CONTINUES!!
